Android music players
I already have accumulated four of five FOSS apps on my phone, and today I added the Vanilla music player, which seems to be the most polished. It has tag editor and meta-data plugins; though I can't get these to work properly on my phone, so far.
My subscription to The Hindu has already yielded a couple of nice articles, which I have liberated from the paywall.
